红圈 七律

不惑無為命自謀，浮萍孤雁闖獨舟。

興衰家世訴真諦，輪回花甲順潮流。

魂系中華千秋業，情歸故里鐘鼓樓。

他鄉莫道宜為客，夢入陽關通燕幽。

Red Circle

Having accomplished nothing by forty,

I made unwavering plans for my own life.

Like floating duckweed or a lone goose,

I forged ahead in my solitary boat.

As for the vicissitudes of family fortune,

I will now reveal the true meaning.

As the sexagenarian cycle completes its revolution,

I flow with the tide.

My soul is tied to the millennial destiny

of the Middle Kingdom,

As my feelings return to my birthplace

with its Bell and Drum Towers.

Do not suppose that I intend to remain an easy

sojourner, far from home,

I have been dreaming of entering the Yangguan

Pass, leading to old Beijing.
